On November 15th, 2025, the Executive Vice President for Regional Collaboration and staff members from the Future Creation Office of Tokushima University participated in the "Gathering of Kyushu and Tokushima-related" held in Fukuoka City. The event aimed to bring together Tokushima natives active in the Kyushu region, as well as business and organization staff with ties to Tokushima, for the purpose of deepening exchanges. The venue was filled with a harmonious atmosphere throughout the event, and participants shared their feelings for Tokushima, fostering a warm bond of friendship. At the event, Tokushima University introduced its educational and research initiatives, student support, and university fund and crowdfunding activities. Participants shared warm comments such as, "It was great to hear directly about Tokushima University's latest developments and challenges," and "I look forward to supporting future initiatives." Tokushima University will continue to cherish its connections with its nationwide "network of ties" and further promote education, research, and social contribution activities in collaboration with the local community.
