The recipients of the Korakukai Award for fiscal year 2024 (12 faculty members and 48 students, including 24 academic researchers and 24 scholarship recipients) have been decided and the award ceremony was held at the Nagai Memorial Hall on February 20th, 2025.
The Korakukai Award is awarded by the Korakukai Foundation to faculty members at Tokushima University who have achieved outstanding results in their research and to students at Tokushima University who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance. The award consists of a certificate and a cash prize or a scholarship. The award was established in 1951 and this marks the 74th time the award has been given.
At the presentation ceremony, the representatives of each category were presented with their certificates and a cash prize or scholarships by President Miki of the Korakukai Foundation. On behalf of the award recipients, Professor Hasunuma Toru of the Graduate School of Technology, Industrial and Social Sciences expressed his gratitude to the Korakukai Foundation.
