On June 22, 2024, the International Office conducted a study tour showcasing Japanese culture and industry. This activity aimed to broaden international students' knowledge of Japanese culture, history, and technology while fostering stronger connections among the participants.
The trip began with a visit to the Asahi Soft Drinks Akashi Factory. While listening to the explanations from the staff, the students toured the manufacturing line and were amazed by the efficient production carried out by advanced machinery in a perfectly maintained clean environment.
Next, the group headed to the iconic Himeji Castle. Despite the rainy weather, they were all impressed by the close-up view of the traditional architectural beauty and the magnificent scenery from the castle main tower.
A total of 40 international students participated in this study tour. It was not only an opportunity to become familiar with Japanese culture but also to foster understanding and cross-cultural interaction among students from diverse backgrounds. The International Office remains committed to organizing more such enriching activities, ensuring that international students gain a deeper and more meaningful appreciation of Japan's culture, history, and technology.
