On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, President Kawamura and his delegation paid a courtesy visit to Hanoi Medical University. Tokushima University and Hanoi Medical University concluded an Agreement on Academic Cooperation in 2023, and three students from Hanoi Medical University entered Graduate School of Medicine in October of the same year. During the meeting, we exchanged opinions on future student exchange and other issues.

On the following day, Thursday, February 29, we paid a courtesy visit to the Vietnam National Institute of Nutrition. Since concluding an Agreement on Academic Cooperation between Tokushima University and the Vietnam National Institute of Nutrition in 2016, the two institutions have been engaged in various initiatives, including implementation of joint research projects and exchange of students. Many researchers participated in a lively exchange of opinions regarding technical assistance, joint research, and Vietnam's clinical nutrition system.

We hope that these courtesy visits will serve as an opportunity to further promote and develop international collaborative projects such as interdisciplinary joint research and exchange of students and researchers between Tokushima University and these institutions.

Meeting at National Institute of Nutrition
