On August 28, Professor Mordechai Segev, a distinguished professor at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, paid a courtesy visit to the President. Professor Segev is an authority on physics and has won numerous international awards including the Quantum Electronics Award of the European Physical Society. The purpose of Professor Segev's visit was to discuss joint research with Tokushima University based on an introduction by Nichia Corporation, which is already engaged in exchanges with the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
