On May 24, the first group of students from Chinese universities visited Tokushima University. A group of Chinese university students visited Japan as part of the Japan-China Tree Planting International Cooperation Project promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Its objective is to deepen understanding of Japan and promote friendship between Japan and China through tree planting activities, visiting universities, seminars on environment and disaster prevention, visiting related facilities, and visiting local cities.
