On November 2 (Friday) 2018, a multicultural exchange event was held at the Tokushima University Industrial Hall. The event was organized by the International Center and the Tokushima Association for International Students. This has been held every year since 2002 to promote exchange between international students, Japanese students, and local people.
Around 170 people took part. At the event, the international students performed dances and songs, and a volunteer from the university administration gave a performance of the misatobue, a Japanese musical instrument.
