The 22nd Annual Science Festival in Tokushima was held for two days on August 4 and 5.
This festival is intended to show children from elementary and junior high school the wonder and fun of science through actually participating in scientific experiments, and it has become an annual event during the summer vacation in the region.
Many participants made lines from early morning on both days, and a total of 9,000 people visited over the two days.
At each booth, the staff used engaging virtual reality and games to explain surprising natural phenomena and the wonders of chemical reactions.
