On June 29, six international students from the International Office visited Kamojima Elementary School and talked about their countries and home towns.
In front of the 3rd and 6th graders, they explained the food and costumes of their countries in Japanese with pictures. The children asked many questions, and the international students had fun answering.
It was a good opportunity for students who are learning Japanese to see an elementary school, and for elementary school children to talk directly to foreign nationals and to learn about other cultures.
