Acceptance of Applications for Tokushima University Living Support Aid

For students who have been affected by the spread of the new coronavirus, the university has established a unique student support system with donations from the community to provide emergency aid money. Applications are being accepted as follows.
1.Application deadline
Sunday, May 31, 2020
2.Application method
Log in to the website indicated in the email from the university and submit the application online. (Application by using Microsoft Forms)
3.Amount of aid
30,000 yen
4.Eligible Students
Undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in the university (excluding students on leave) as of May 1, 2020 (excluding Japanese Government/MEXT Scholarship students, foreign government-sponsored students, and graduate students working as a regular employee) and who fall under any of the followings (excluding students who are already qualified for the emergency aid money recipients as announced on May 11, 2020 [those who have applied for a tuition reduction or the designated scholarships in 2020]):
(1) Those who have received monthly financial support from people supporting their living expenses (e.g., money sent from their parents) and experienced a reduction in the monthly financial support due to the spread of the new coronavirus at least once during the period from January to May 2020, down to two-thirds or less as compared with the monthly amount received in November or December 2019
(2) Those who have been doing part-time jobs for earning living expenses, etc. and experienced a reduction in the amount of monthly earnings due to the spread of new coronavirus at least once during the period from January to May 2020, down to two-thirds or less as compared with the amount of monthly earnings in November or December 2019
5.Date of provision
As soon as the provision is ready, the university will deposit the aid to the qualified applicants’ tuition withdrawal accounts.
