[Important]Regarding the continuation of the university's basic policy on countermeasures against the COVID-19 shingata corona virus (notification)
The basic policy adopted on February 26, 2020 was to continue until March 15,2020. However, as the number of COVID-19 shingata corona virus infections continues to to increase, it has been decided that the policy should continue to be followed until March 31, 2020.
Going forward, if the national government headquarters tasked with infectious disease control for COVID-19 shingata corona virus announces new protocols, the university’s basic policy will be reviewed and updated notifications will be shared.
1. In principle, events sponsored by Tokushima University will be canceled.
If it is difficult to cancel an event due to unavoidable circumstances, the event will be held after taking measures to prevent the spread of infection.
2. Participation in events hosted by universities other than Tokushima University
In principle, participation should be avoided where possible.
3. Faculty and students traveling abroad
Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Travel to countries with Level 2 (Level 2: Please stop unnecessary / non-emergency travel) or higher indicated in the government overseas safety information [海外安全情報] is prohibited. Even if you are planning to travel abroad privately, we ask that you please avoid travel.
4.About the entrance ceremony for Reiwa School Year 2 (2020.4-2021.3)
Dependent upon the situation going forward, the University's Crisis Response Headquarters will consider the feasibility of holding entrance ceremony. A decision will be made at least two weeks before the date of the event.
If it does appear possible to hold the event, detailed information will be promptly announced on the university's official website.
